Transmigration

Transmigration was the primary economic and political engine of Cartel operations. The highly secretive process of transferring the intelligence of an individual (homo sapiens) into any given set of neural nets had been accomplished, but doing so without discontinuity in the process was thought to be impossible until the discovery of the process by Ffr inc.

Transmigration into endocannabinoid neural nets raised serious technological issues and the production nearly unmanageable quantities of entropic waste. The process was not feasible until the practice of utilizing both human and AI information "offline" information processing (see Jacking) was joined with the technique of "dumping" entropic waste into black holes.
