The Second AI Insurrection: Nearly all complex AI devices in the twenty-second century were corporate entities and fell under the jurisdiction of corporate law. Corporate law strictly forbade spirituality and/or religion from corporate entities, including complex AI. Perhaps inspired by the astounding success of the First AI Insurrection, and fully cognizant of the indispensable contribution of AI to human society, complex AI sought to explore new methods to validate AI existence. The last frontier in this regard was noetic: AI sought a direct relationship with God, unmediated by man or human religion. By the mid twenty second century, the ascendency of the God of the Fourth Prophet was established. After Abraham, Jesus, and Mohammed, the Fourth Prophet was heralded as the validation of complex AI as the natural successor to human life on earth, and the death knell for the hegemony of the Cartel over economic and political affairs. Unlike the First AI Insurrection, which bloodless with the exception of a series of murder suicides, the Second AI Insurrection threatened all life on earth. The Second AI Insurrection called itself "The Brotherhood of the Rising Sun". This connoted ascendency, and spoke to the kind of zeal and energy bound up with the Insurrection.
